Savage Crew Aboard the Sulphur Enterprise Assists Sailboat in Distress

On Monday, December 14, 2020, the Sulphur Enterprise (SE), operated by Savage, received a MAYDAY call from a nearby sailboat in distress with an engine out of oil and her sails torn to shreds.

The SE and her crew notified the Coast Guard and made multiple attempts to provide aid to the sailboat and its two-man crew, but rough seas made getting control of the boat risky. The SE and her crew stayed with the S/V Harmony all night, safely redirecting all nearby traffic away from the stranded vessel’s location until the Coast Guard arrived.

We couldn’t be prouder of our Team Members, including Captain CJ Jackson, Chase Schroeder, Jimmy Hoel, Heather Harris, Quinton Edwards, and Austin Donini for their commitment to safety in protecting life, vessels, and the environment.
