Savage Names Kirk Aubry as President

Salt Lake City, Utah – Dec. 12, 2012 – The Savage Board of Directors announced today the appointment of Kirk Aubry as President of the Company. Aubry joined Savage in October of 2010 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. His contributions to the Company in this role have been outstanding, thus resulting in the Board’s confidence in Kirk Aubry’s ability to lead Savage as its President. Allen Alexander will continue with Savage in the role of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.

Aubry’s background includes more than 20 years of proven operational and leadership experience. Prior to joining Savage in 2010, Aubry was Managing Partner of the CEO Project, a unique organization that helps companies with process re-engineering and strategic thinking at the top executive level, and COO of a medical software organization, known as gloStream. Prior to that, he served as COO of Cadence Innovation, where he was responsible for almost 6,000 employees in more than 30 facilities around the world. Kirk also previously served as Vice President of Textron Inc., where Kirk led an enterprise-wide effort to improve the culture, structure, operation and composition of this multi-industry company.
