Hero Truck Driver Saves Two People From Fiery Wreck

We’re extremely proud of our truck driver Richard Krochta, whom the Colorado State Patrol credits with saving the lives of two people trapped in their burning car near Colorado Springs, in the early morning of August 29th. Rich jumped into action when he came across the accident scene while driving his regular route, and was able to pull the driver and passenger out of the car just before it became fully engulfed in flames. The CSP called his actions “truly heroic.”

We’re very grateful to have amazing Team Members like Rich, and appreciate his bravery and selfless service in rescuing these two people from a life-threatening situation. Hear Rich tell the story in his own words in the following news interviews:
