Savage Volunteers Help Paint Philadelphia Mural

October 26, 2018

In June 2018, we held our annual leadership conference in Philadelphia, PA. At our conferences, we always make time to volunteer and give service that will make a difference in the local community we’re visiting or benefit others in need around the world.

This year, our team of over 600 people, including Savage Team Members, spouses, and guests, lent a hand to paint the “Water Gives Life” mural as part of the Mural Arts Philadelphia program. The program unites artists and communities to collaborate in mural-making around the city to transform public spaces and the lives of those that pass these works of art.

The mural we helped to paint was drawn by Philly-based artists Eurhi Jones and David McShane to celebrate the undeniable connection between Philadelphia’s rivers and local flora. The collaborative part of the project came with groups like ours painting sections of the canvas until it was complete. The finished product is beautiful and we’re all so proud to be involved with bringing this mural to fruition.

We hope you’ll pay “Water Gives Life” a visit next time you’re in Philly.
