How can I apply for a position with Savage?
To be considered an applicant, one must submit an online application through the Savage Careers website. Click on the specific job, then Apply Now to get started. Or you may click the Login button at the top of jobs list.
To begin an application, you must first create a profile. Once a profile exists, enter login information in the Returning User box to complete your application.
If you have any questions about the online application system or need to request a reasonable accommodation, please call us at 800-827-4439 or use the Need further assistance? button at the bottom of the login screen.
I cannot log in to the system to apply.
Please verify that you are on the Savage Careers website. All job seekers, including those who applied before 2011, must create a new profile with login.
To clarify your job search, select the Search Jobs and enter the specific information you are looking for. After choosing and reviewing the specific job information, click Apply at the bottom to log in and complete an application.
If you are still having issues accessing the system to apply, use the Get Help Now/Live Chat button at the bottom of the login screen.
Can you send me an application?
No. At Savage, we do not accept paper applications or resumes (e.g. faxes, emails, etc.). To apply, visit the Savage Careers website and click on the specific job. Click Apply Now to get started.
How do I submit my resume?
Create or log on to your profile. Within the job application, click the Resume link and follow the instructions for uploading your resume.
Note: You must submit your application on-line for a specific job to be considered for that job. US mailed, faxed, or emailed resumes are not adequate for application purposes.
I see more than one position that im intersted in, do i need to apply multiple times?
A separate application must be submitted for each job for which you wish to apply. If you have previously applied for a job with Savage, the system will prepopulate all non-job specific fields that were completed from that previous application. You will be able to update those fields along with entering the job specific information within the new application.
What is the current status of my application?
Upon completion of the online application process, applicants receive a confirmation e-mail. At this point, the application is submitted to the job(s) of your choice. Applications are screened for the most qualified candidates to proceed to the next step in the process. Due to the large volume of applications, we are unable to personally respond to all applicants. All candidates will receive an email when their status changes.
If a Skills Assessment is required by the position, you may receive a second email notification reminding you to finish the assessment along with your first confirmation email.
Note: The application system will automatically take you to the assessment page upon completion of the application. If you complete the assessment at that time, you may ignore the reminder email message.
How do I update my application?
Once an online application is submitted, the only information that can be changed or updated is your contact information (i.e. name, address, email, phone number). If you need to change your contact information, please log in and enter your user name and password. Update your information and click Update Account Information.
Can I search for job opportunities with only specific search criteria?
Yes. Within the Savage Careers website you can search jobs by keywords, category, and location. The system will display all current job openings that match your specified criteria.
I don't see a job posted in my location.
Savage posts positions as they become available. If you do not see the location you are interested in, we currently do not have jobs in that location. Our career website is updated daily, so check back regularly for new postings.

I am qualified for the position I applied for. Why wasn't I contacted?
You may be competing with hundreds of other qualified candidates. Applications are screened for the most qualified candidates to proceed to the next step in the process. Due to the large volume of applications, we are unable to personally respond to all applicants. If selected for an interview, or if additional information is needed, a Savage representative will contact you directly via email or telephone. All candidates will receive an email when their status changes.
At what age can I be hired by Savage?
A person must be at least 18 years of age to be employed at Savage unless through a specific internship program and/or with restrictions and specific supervision required by law for the employment of minors.
What are the requirements for employment at Savage?
Basic qualifications are included in the job posting. To learn more, review our current job openings. Within the Savage Careers website, click on the specific job, review the position, and click Apply. From here, you will be able to preview the available jobs and view the basic requirements.
Is drug and alcohol testing involved in the application process?
Savage is a drug free workplace. Drug and alcohol testing, which sometimes includes hair testing for illegal drugs, are part of our employment application process. Please note that you will not be able to progress an application for employment unless you are able to provide an adequate sample for testing.
