Alexander has served with Savage for the past 30 years and has held a number of operations management and executive positions, including President of Savage’s coal division. Alexander has extensive experience in the development, construction and operation of bulk transportation systems and materials management and handling facilities. In 1987, Alexander was appointed President, and then was named Savage’s Chief Executive Officer in 1995. A native of Utah, Allen is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a Masters degree in Industrial Relations. Alexander also sits on the Executive Committee of the National Coal Council.
